On Father’s Day, 2016, a group of history fans, baseball fanatics, and former semi-pros got together to play some ball. With help from the East Jersey Old Town Village, the Liberty Base Ball Club was born.

With County support, the team plays authentic 1858-style baseball with other Vintage Baseball teams at fields from Delaware to Maine, complete with reproduction uniforms, equipment, and rules dating back to the origins of this national pastime.

Grab a blanket and some peanuts and enjoy a free home game at the Liberty’s home field, East Jersey Old Town Village.
